Nicholas Hrebicek

As Chief Financial Officer, Nicholas (Nick) Hrebicek is responsible for the financial and risk management practices at CIRO. This includes financial operations, planning, not-for-profit cost recovery, and enterprise risk management.

Nick has more than 25 years of experience serving in executive leadership and progressive roles within the financial services sector, with a focus on Finance, Strategy, Operations, Risk Management and Business Development.

Prior to joining CIRO, Nick served as Chief Financial Officer at Educators Financial Group where he was responsible for leading all aspects of financial budgeting and reporting, regulatory compliance, investment operations and performance, and enterprise risk management.

Nick holds an MBA and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition, he holds the Chartered Director (C.Dir), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations.
